The Brashtide crew, or Brashwater crew, was a large group of humans who were originally part of the Blackwater Raiders. They went missing and were believed to be killed many years ago, but it was later learned that they were in Gilneas just before the land was sealed away by King Greymane. The pirates were held as captives and when the worgen curse spread through the land, they too were changed.
For unknown reasons, when Gilneas's borders were opened, the Brashtide crew defected to the Bloodsail Buccaneers and assists them in attacking Booty Bay.
