Patches and hotfixes

  • Hotfix (2017-01-17): "Chimaera Shot damage increased by 10%."
  • Legion Patch 7.1.5 (2017-01-10): Damage increased by 60%.
  • Legion Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Redesigned into a Beast Mastery talent. Damage done reduced from 660% to 180%.
  • Hotfix (2015-11-20): "Now deals 10% less damage while in PvP combat (down from dealing 20% less damage in PvP combat)."
  • Hotfix (2015-02-26): "Now deals 20% less damage in PvP combat."
  • WoD Patch 6.1.0 (2015-02-24): Damage increased by 30.4%.
  • Hotfix (2014-10-30): "Damage has been reduced by 13%."
  • Hotfix (2014-10-17): "Damage increased by 15%."
  • WoD Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Chimera Shot has been renamed Chimaera Shot. It is now a two-headed shot that hits two targets, costs 35 Focus (down from 45 Focus), and deals Frost or Nature damage, but no longer heals the Hunter.
  • Hotfix (2013-09-23): "Chimera Shot's damage has been increased by 50%."
  • MoP Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Chimera Shot now deals 25% more damage and heals the Hunter for 5% (was 3%) of their total health.
  • MoP Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now cost 45 Focus, down from 50. Healing done reduced from 5% to 3%. Cooldown reduced from 10 to 9 sec.
  • WotLK Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): The secondary effects of this shot will now still be triggered even when the target dies from the ability's damage.
  • WotLK Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added.
