Demon hunter abilities are abilities used by demon hunters. Most abilities are shared between both specializations, while some are only specific to one specialization.

Class

All demon hunters automatically learn the following spells at the specified level, regardless of specialization.

Specializations

The two demon hunter specializations are Havoc (melee DPS) and Vengeance (tanking).

For a summary of the character and strengths of each spec, see Demon hunter specializations.

Talents

Talents become available at level 99, with a new tier unlocked every 2 levels after 100. Only one talent can be chosen from each tier.

They can be swapped out any time outside of a rested area using  [Tome of the Clear Mind] for characters level 15-100, or  [Tome of the Tranquil Mind] for those at 101 or above.

Glyphs

Glyphs are spell and ability enhancements that add cosmetic effects or minor enhancements, created by scribes. Glyphs are color-coded to the class for which they are meant.

Glyphs can be removed any time outside of combat using  [Vanishing Powder] and can be used from level 25.
