Fallen Crusaders are raised by Thalnos the Soulrender several at a time during his encounter. They can be easily killed, but their corpses do not disappear on death. This is so Thalnos can summon an Empowering Spirit to possess one of the fallen crusader's corpses, turning it in to an Empowered Zombie. For this reason, crusaders should be gathered up and killed away from where the boss is going to be tanked to force the spirit to travel some distance in order to reach it's targeted crusader.
