Fort Triumph is a new Alliance outpost in Southern Barrens. The fort is on the eastern side of the Battlescar, with the Horde outpost Desolation Hold located on the western side. It contains two scout towers and is defended by many ballistae.

History

Fort Triumph acted as a garrison for General Hawthorne's troops during the Alliance's operations to secure the Southern Barrens. After Hawthorne's assassination by Horde adventurers, General Twinbraid intended to travel to Fort Triumph to take over command.

Tides of War

The Horde, after a long delay, mobilized from the recently conquered Northwatch Hold and attacked Fort Triumph. It is said that Forward Command was abandoned and its soldiers went to help Northwatch. Survivors from Northwatch would regroup in Fort Triumph. After Fort Triumph fell, the Horde looted the fort's siege weapons to be used for their upcoming Attack on Theramore Isle.

It's unknown whether there were any survivors but General Twinbraid later showed up in Pandaria.
