Monk abilities are abilities used by monks. Most abilities are shared between all specializations, while some are only specific to one (or two) specializations.

Class

All monks automatically learn the following spells at the specified level, regardless of specialization.

Specializations

The three monk specializations are Brewmaster (tanking), Mistweaver (healing) and Windwalker (melee DPS).

Talents

Talents become available at level 15, with a new tier unlocked every 15 levels. Only one talent can be chosen from each tier.

They can be swapped out any time outside of combat using  [Vanishing Powder] for characters level 15-80,  [Dust of Disappearance] for characters level 81-85, or  [Tome of the Clear Mind] for those at 86 or above, or by visiting a class trainer.

Honor talents

Honor talents become available at level 110. Only one honor talent can be chosen from each tier.

They can be swapped out any time outside of combat, in rested areas, or during the beginning of a PvP match. Other situations require the use of  [Tome of the Tranquil Mind].

Glyphs

Glyphs are spell and ability enhancements that add cosmetic effects or minor enhancements, created by scribes. Glyphs are color-coded to the class for which they are meant.

Glyphs can be removed any time outside of combat using  [Vanishing Powder] and can be used from level 25.
