Rebuke in Hearthstone.

Rebuke is a paladin class talent. It interrupts the target's spellcasting and prevents any spell in that school from being cast for 4 seconds.

Tips[]

  • Rebuke is not affected by the global cooldown.
  • Rebuke can be very useful when playing against casters. See Tips and tactics for information on using interrupts.

Trivia[]

Rebuke is a common paladin spell in the The Witchwood expansion for Hearthstone. The flavor text reads: "When one buke just isn’t enough."

Patch changes[]

  • Dragonflight Patch 10.1.0 (2023-05-02): Interrupt duration decreased to 3 seconds (was 4 seconds).
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.7 (2023-03-21): Moved up to row 4 (was row 5).
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 5 class talent (was a level 27 Protection and Retribution ability).
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now learned at level 27 (was 35).
  • Legion Patch 7.1.0 (2016-10-25): Now available at level 35.
  • Legion Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): No longer available to Holy Paladins. Mana cost removed.
  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Cooldown increased from 10 sec to 15 sec. Base mana cost increased to 11.7%, up from 10%. Now available at level 36 (was 54).
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.2.0 (2011-06-28): Rebuke will now cause the character to use the uppercut-animation instead of the kick-animation.[1] Now uses a new icon.

  • Cataclysm Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26): Rebuke can no longer miss its target.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Rebuke can now be trained by all paladins at level 54 (was a tier 4 Retribution talent). Existing characters will need to visit their trainer, even if they had talented Rebuke before.
    Replaced in the talent tree with Ability paladin blessedmending [Sacred Shield].
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): No longer initiates Auto Attack.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Added.
