Rukhran is the third boss of Skyreach in Spires of Arak.

Adventure Guide[]

This majestic bird, rumored to be the progeny of the arakkoa sun-god Rukhmar, soars through the skies above the Spires of Arak. Rukhran has an affinity for solar energy, and can absorb the sun's power and unleash it to incinerate any prey.

Overview[]

Rukhran hovers at the far end of a platform covered with piles of ash. The fiery bird creates Solar Flares that chase down players until defeated, at which point they burst to activate any nearby Piles of Ash.

Damage Dealers[]

Move away from Solar Flares that are fixated on you, or they will trigger a Sunstrike.
Defeat Solar Flares away from Piles of Ash, or their Sunburst will reanimate the piles.

Healers[]

Move away from Solar Flares that are fixated on you, or they will trigger a Sunstrike.

Tanks[]

Always remain within melee range of Rukhran - if untanked, he will Screech, inflicting severe damage to all enemies until melee combat resumes.
Use active mitigation defensive abilities to counter Pierce Armor, or else suffer Pierced Armor.

Abilities[]

Pierce Armor — The caster's next attack pierces the target's armor for great Physical damage. Victims of this attack are affected with Pierced Armor. Pierces the victim's armor, causing them to receive 10% more damage from Pierce Armor for each application of Pierced Armor. This effect will not apply to tanks using their active mitigation.

- Sunstrike — The caster explodes, inflicting 83250 to 96750 Fire damage to all enemies within 10 yards, and 46250 to 53750 Fire damage to all enemies outside 10 yards. The explosion forces the caster to go dormant. Any Piles of Ash within 5 yards of the caster will activate.
- Sunburst — The caster explodes, inflicting 13875 to 16125 Fire damage to all enemies within 10 yards. The explosion forces the caster to go dormant. Any Piles of Ash within 5 yards of the caster will activate.
Quills — Inflicts 30000 Physical damage to all enemies in the area and increases damage taken from Screech and Quills by 10%.
Screech — Inflicts 10000 Physical damage to all enemies in the area and increases damage taken from Screech and Quills by 10%.
