The Temple of Telhamat is a draenei stronghold and religious site on the northwestern frontier of the Hellfire Peninsula. The draenei here are called the Omenai, a religious order led by Amaan the Wise.[1][2] When Velen and the majority of the draenei race left for Azeroth, these draenei remained on Outland to reestablish a presence at their holy places.[3]
When the Watchers entered Outland in their pursuit of Illidan Stormrage, Maiev Shadowsong visited the Temple of Telhamat and asked the draenei about Akama.[4]

Trivia[]
- The Temple of Telhamat, or any counterpart thereof, is missing from the alternate Draenor zone of Tanaan Jungle, which is the past version of Hellfire Peninsula. It may confirm the hint from [10-30] The Temple of Telhamat that it was built some time after the formation of the Old Horde rather than before.
- The Temple of Telhamat was called the "Temple of Sha'naar" in the early development of the expansion.[5]
