Verek is a red darkhound found in Blackrock Depths, and is Warder Stilgiss' companion, gifted to him by Houndmaster Grebmar.

Unlike the bloodhounds and bloodhound mastiffs in BRD, Verek is not particularly sensitive to stealthed characters. He is stunnable, while Stilgiss is not.
