Wowpedia:Merging guideline

This page is considered a guideline on Wowpedia. It illustrates standards of conduct, which many editors agree with in principle. However, it is not policy. Merge is a generic term for combining things. It is often used when relating to merging changes in source code for software programs. Some people like to use the term integrate.

In wikis, people use this term to combine the contents of wiki pages. If you see two articles which share the same topic, you can add the {{Merge}} template to them. This will add them to the category Category:Merge candidates.
