Tamaala was a female tauren that was the lifemate of Cairne Bloodhoof and the mother of Baine Bloodhoof. She died some time before the events of The Third War, and according to Cairne's recollection, was a very spiritual person with a big heart and good perception. Cairne also noted that Baine took after her in that regard.[1]
