Ancestral Knowledge was a Shaman talent in the Enhancement tree. It provided a passive bonus to the shaman's total Intellect.
Notes[]
Ancestral Knowledge increased the shaman's total Intellect by up to 10%. It would affect both Intellect from gear and from buffs such as [Arcane Intellect]. The bonus stacked with the intellect increase from [Blessing of Kings].
The talent was useful to shamans of all three specs, since the increase to intellect would provide a small boost to spell critical strike chance, maximum mana pool, and mana gained from effects like [Mana Tide Totem] and [Replenishment]. The additional intellect gained also worked with talents like [Mental Dexterity], [Nature's Blessing], and [Unrelenting Storm], effectively making those talents up to 10% more powerful.
Trivia[]
- Ancestral Knowledge is a common Shaman spell in the Grand Tournament expansion of Hearthstone. The flavor text reads: "MOMMMMMYYYYYYYYY!!!"
