Description

With success over their trials, our aspirants shall now start the next chapter of their afterlives.

They have proven themselves through eons of training and cleansing, and will now earn ascendance.

As each aspirant is called, I ask you and Pelagos to please assist by ushering them up. It is a tradition we have practiced for eons, reinforcing the bonds that we share.

Sophone has been performing the role of an Ascended for a while now. She even has her own forge at the Crucible! She is well past due for this ceremony, I think.

A cutscene plays:

A spear flies into the scene and smashes the center of the platform, nearly missing Kleia.

Devos says: No more of your rituals, Archon. No more lies!

Devos changes colors to the Forsworn!

Devos says: Rise, my Forsworn!

Kyrestia the Firstborne says: Devos? You lead this rebellion?!

Devos says: The Archon's blind edicts place us all in peril! We will forge a new path for Bastion!

Devos says: The Spires of Ascension will belong to the Forsworn!

Kyrestia the Firstborne says: Ascended, repel this assault! Paragons, with me!

Turn in to the wounded Kleia. Near her, Pelagos is healing an Ambitious Aspirant, Eager Onlooker, Ardent Defender, and Pallessa.
