Blessed Resilience is a Tier 5 Holy priest talent. It increases the healing done to the priest by 15/30% after being damaged by an attack equal to more than 10% of the priest's total health or critically hit by any non-periodic attack.

This talent is interesting both for PvP and PvE talent specializations. For PvP this is a no-brainer. While the buff "Blessed Resilience" is active, the priest gets increased healing, giving the priest a greater chance to survive.

Blessed Resilience has limited use in PvE - while a healing increase gives the priest a greater chance to survive, the healer rarely gets attacked, and may want to spend talent points elsewhere.

Patch changes

  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Will now proc when the priest is critically hit, in addition to its current effect.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Redesigned. No longer increases the effectiveness of the priest's healing spells or gives the priest a chance to give immunity to critical hits.
  • Wrath of the Lich King Patch 3.2.0 (2009-08-04): Now properly triggered by periodic critical strikes.
