Bones of Grakkarond

The Bones of Grakkarond lied in central Silithus. They were the huge bones of the bronze dragon Grakkarond, who was slain by Ossirian the Unscarred during the War of the Shifting Sands. The Bones of Grakkarond are considered sacred by the Anubisath.

Before Patch 4.1.0 a quest was located here to summon Emissary Roman'khan, a outdoor world boss which required up to twenty people to defeat at level 60.

The dragon bones alongside the majority of Silithus were destroyed at the end of the third invasion of the Burning Legion when Sargeras tried to destroy Azeroth.

Patch changes

  • Legion Patch 7.3.2 (2017-10-24): The dragon bones had been obliterated by Sargeras.
  • WoW Icon update.png Patch 1.4.0 (2005-05-05): The dragon bones just to the southwest of The Swarming Pillar in Silithus have been named the Bones of Grakkarond.
