Burning Soul Demon hunter Azerite trait When your Consume Magic consumes a beneficial Magic effect from the target, gain X Absorb for 20 sec and shatter a Soul Fragment from the target.

Burning Soul is an Azerite trait available to demon hunters.

Patch changes

• Hotfix (2019-12-20): Burning Soul, [Pack Spirit], and [Twist Magic] are now correctly set to have 20% effectiveness in PvP.
  

Developers' note: In a previous hotfix, we reduced the effectiveness of all Tier 3 Azerite Traits that offer healing or absorbs to 20% in PvP. Unfortunately, three traits [...] were incorrectly set to 25% effectiveness in PvP. This issue has now been corrected.

• Hotfix (2019-06-28): Burning Soul's absorption shield reduced to 25% when engaged in combat with enemy players (was 50%).
