Captured Farmers were humans held at the Tarren Mills inn in Hillsbrad Foothills. High Executor Darthalia suspected a military strategist from Stormwind to be hiding out amongst them. But as he was found dead in the Plaguelands. Darthalia gives the prisoners to Apothecary Lydon to do with as he wishes.[1]
