  1. Shouldn't we distinguish between the Drustvar witches (tranformed race) and all the other NPCs that have the term witch in the name (occupation)?
  2. Also the pages of the Drustvar witches probably don't need the Human characters category as we don't tag the Broken as Draenei characters in pages, but instead, the Broken category is in the Draenei category which is fine. With splitting the witches, this could be done with them as well. --Mordecay (talk) 11:55, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
AFAIK it says "The death magic they wield has contorted their bodies" but they are still humans, just ugly humans. Human is their race, witch is their occupation. Xporc (talk) 12:40, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
The fel changed draenei and orcs into Broken and fel orcs and we write Broken and Fel orc as their race (and category) not (ugly) orc and draenei. Wretched are arcane magic deformed junkies and are a race. I think witch (from Drustvar) should be race, not occupation. --Mordecay (talk) 13:05, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
Is there any single source calling witches a race? Xporc (talk) 22:30, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
Is there one about the Wretched, the Felborne, or even the different age stages of dragonkin and giants? --Mordecay (talk) 22:31, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
You're right, we should just delete all those. I'll put a bot request for this tomorrow. Xporc (talk) 22:40, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
Witch is an occupation, not a race. Although it would be nice to separate the drust witches from the others IMO. — SurafbrovWowpedia administrator T / C 22:43, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
Regardless of if witches are an occupation or race, I agree that it'd make sense to make a separate category for the Drustvar witches and keep a general "Witches" category for all other types of witches from older lore (Witch Lord Morkurk, Grillok "Darkeye", etc.). -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 22:47, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
Going to agree with Xporc and Suraf here, they're not a separate race per se, they're just ugly humans, it's okay to have them in the witch category, although they could have a [Heartsbane witch] subcategory. Plus not all of them look the same, the matrons are again a bit more different looking (in addition to being dead). -- MyMindWontQuiet 22:48, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
Here it was said that just because the San'layn and Felblood elves have unique models, they are going to be treated as a race. Both blood elves influenced by magic, death and fel, which mirrors these witches. The separate BfA!witch category would be in the humans category, like the Category:Felblood elves is in the blood elf category. It ok? --Mordecay (talk) 22:55, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
We don't have Felborne as a race as far as I know, just a group of glowy Nightborne. My understanding here is that we are only talking about Categories. We are much more free to do what we want with Categories than with pure lore stuff, since we can make categories about anything. Heartsbane witches are.. witches, so they should probably be a subcategory of the Witch category. - MyMindWontQuiet 23:11, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
The page itself has the Race category, but yes, it was decided to be treated as a group of nightborne on its talk page. And, yep, I only asked about categories, content of the witch page is ok. --Mordecay (talk) 23:37, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
You guys will regret this when Blizzard use witches models for non-Heartsbane mobs in the following expansion packs but whatever Xporc (talk) 09:25, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
How so? — SurafbrovWowpedia administrator T / C 09:28, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
Because then we'll have to split it again and create a category for non-Heartsbane Heartstbane witches Xporc (talk) 09:35, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
Except they can be regular witches. The Heartsbane is more unqiue and a collective group unlike the others. The model they use can be generic ugly human model of the witch, doesn't make that model the "Heartsbane" witch. Blizzard reuses a lot of models even though it would be cool to be unique. — SurafbrovWowpedia administrator T / C 09:42, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
