A Chimaerok was one of three types of chimaeras previously inhabiting the Isle of Dread off the coast of Feralas. They dropped Chimaerok Tenderloins which were needed for , which was a part of Scepter of the Shifting Sands questline from the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj opening.
To reach the area where the chimaerok (along with the other tenderloid-dropping chimaeras) lived, one had to cross from the mainland of Feralas to the Isle of Dread, which is in the southwestern corner of the zone. The player would then have to travel down the eastern shoreline to a path leading into the interior about halfway down the coast. It was this path that took the character to the area where the chimaerok were flying about. There was another path that leads into the interior from the southeastern part as well.
You could get this from all types of chimaera on the isle. It was not a 100% drop, perhaps about 67% chance to get it from each kill. You may have needed to kill all the Chimaeroks 3 or 4 times to get 20 Tenderloin. The chimaeras took some time to respawn.
As the Isle of Dread was destroyed in the Shattering, it seems all the chimaeras, including the "Chimaeroks", perished. For a while, there were no way to get a hold of the delicious Chimaerok Tenderloins, untill Prince Lakma was added in Patch 4.3.0.
