Role Forum Moderator
"Frappucinos are bad for feathered ethereal beings."

Coreiel, affectionately known as 'Feathers' by the forum community, is a Blizzard employee and moderator for the US World of Warcraft forums.

She is particularly well known for her iron-fisted management of the World of Warcraft Off-Topic forum.

Notable posts

In mid-April 2007 she stated that posting threads that contain Harry Potter spoilers will result in a (more than likely permanent) ban from the forums. This thread was deleted shortly afterwards. Her quote before the deletion was as follows: "All right, some fun illumination of the topic:

- Some of the people reading this forum have been fans of the story in question since the publishing of the very first book in 1997. For the math impaired, that was ten years ago. For the deduction impaired, that span of time accounts easily for half the lifetime of some of the fans.

- We Forum Moderators are granted the responsibility to moderate anything we find to be unacceptable. It's all there in the Code of Conduct ( http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/forum-coc.html ), to which you agreed before ever being allowed to post here. We are also granted the right to take more severe or more lenient action depending on the individual act in question, according to our judgment.

- "Trolling" is defined as "creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums", and "causing disturbances in forum threads". Spoiling the ending to a popular book or movie firmly rests in both of these categories, as a spoiler thread is created with the intent to create a disturbance.

To sum up, if you even hint at spoilers to the end of the series (or, indeed, to any popular entertainment story, at our discernment), you will be found in violation of the Forum Code of Conduct and summarily perma-banned due to the extreme nature of the violation.

This is not "unfair" or "mean", nor is it being "cry babies", nor is it "abuse of power". If you abuse your posting privileges, particularly when you've been specifically warned how not to do so, you will lose them. Permanently"
