Prince Dagran Thaurissan II is the son of Emperor Dagran Thaurissan of the Dark Iron clan and Moira Thaurissan (born Moira Bronzebeard) of Ironforge. Dagran is thus the heir presumptive[2] to the thrones of both Ironforge and Shadowforge City.

After Magni Bronzebeard turned to diamond shortly before the Cataclysm, Moira brought Dagran to Ironforge[3] where he remains to this day.

Until he achieves his majority, the rule of Ironforge is decided by the Council of Three Hammers, composed of Moira, Muradin Bronzebeard and Falstad Wildhammer, after which the Council will disband.[2]

During the trial of Garrosh Hellscream, Dagran was seen in a vision when Varian infiltrated Ironforge by the trial's participants.[4]

After the Argus Campaign, Dagran accompanied his mother and Anduin Wrynn through Ironforge across the city areas, including his favorite area, the Hall of Explorers. Anduin quickly assumed that he was six or seven years old. When they reached Old Ironforge, Dagran started reading the ritual words that had turned Magni into diamond. Soon after, a guard came running and told Moira and Anduin that Magni had just arrived. The two leaders returned to the Hall of Explorers and despite Dagran wanting to meet his grandfather, Moira asked Advisor Belgrum to take the child away.[1]

  • His skin is gray but of a warmer shade, his eye color is green with no hint of red, and his hair is white.[1]
  • Moira's child appeared in the nightmares of his grandfather Magni Bronzebeard, in which he was fully grown and was called Fenran.[5]
  • In the index of the Ultimate Visual Guide book, Dagran is listed with Emperor as his title.[6]
