Demonic Fury is a unique Demonology warlock resource displayed in the user interface beneath the player's health and mana bars. It is available at level 10. It is capped at 1000. Demonic Fury is spent while using or to use certain abilities. Generating and consuming Demonic Fury is important to keep your DPS high as a Demonology warlock, as it enhances your damage greatly by using your Metamorphosis-specific abilities. It can also increases your survivability by activating , the tanky counterpart of Metamorphosis.
Demonic Fury works similar to other resources like Runic Power used by Death Knights, as it is generated by some abilities and consumed by others, it will also slowly decay if it is not consumed and no abilities are used. Something special about is that it will not decay to a lower amount than 200. You can go lower than 200 Demonic Fury by consuming it with Metamorphosis etc., but after a short time it will go back to 200.
Many spells and even demon minion attacks generate Demonic Fury. The following spells generate these values:
- : +30
- : +25
- : +12 per tick
- : +10 per second
- : +25 per target and +2 every time deals damage
- : +15
- : +3 per target
- : +5 per Firebolt
Abilities that consume Demonic Fury:
- consumes 6 Demonic Fury every second while active
- consumes 100 Demonic Fury to activate
- consumes Demonic Fury while Metamorphosis is active
- consumes 30 Demonic Fury per second and is canceled when there is not enough
