- Dizzying Haze is primarily a ranged AoE threat generator and is useful for gaining aggro on distant enemies.
Trivia
During the Mists of Pandaria beta, this ability was originally named Drunken Haze. It is speculated that it was changed, along with other alcohol-themed monk ability names, due to objections from PEGI.
Patch changes
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Removed.
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Now has no Energy cost, but no longer causes the target's melee attacks to sometimes misfire.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Added.
