Dougan is a human paladin who fought with Kardan and Voldana during the Second War in battling the Horde. In the aftermath of the war, he settled near Grand Hamlet with his wife Adena and his twin baby girls: Loania and Lieren. Dougan set out with Kardan and Voldana to rescue several villagers who had been reported missing from investigating the cursed tower of Karazhan.[1] He fell in a battle with Terestian Illhoof. His spirit is trapped within the realm of Karazhan, and later rescued his daughters who came into the tower seeking him.[2]

Since Dougan fought in the Second War as a paladin, he was very likely a member of the Silver Hand.
