Jade Forest storyline

Zone map

The Jade Forest storyline covers all of the quests leading to and in the Jade Forest. Both factions start out in their capital cities of Stormwind and Orgrimmar before shipping out to Pandaria. An encounter with the opposite faction takes place and both factions crash land at opposite ends of the zone. After getting settled, adventurers push forward to Dawn's Blossom and start uncovering the mysteries of Pandaria.

The progression of the storyline in this zone is tracked in the achievement  [Upjade Complete].

After discovering the secrets of the Temple of the Jade Serpent and the Serpent's Heart, players are sent to the Valley of the Four Winds. Very early in the valley storyline (the third quest in!), players are given the opportunity to travel to Krasarang Wilds and complete the parallel wilds storyline instead of questing through the valley.

On the hunt for Admiral Taylor, adventurers find him and Bold Karasshi imprisoned in the Slingtail Pits. After escaping the pits and making it to Pearlfin Village, the Pearlfin Jinyu must make a decision on whether or not to join the the Alliance.

Drama comes to a head as Rell Nightwind and his SI:7 team recount their harrowing tale through the Jade Forest, realizing that the Horde are arming the Forest Hozen! Not willing to let themselves be overrun, Taylor's team arms the jinyu and trains them to take the hozen down and claim the Slingtail Pits for themselves.

After Amber Kearnen finishes her report, Bold Karasshi mentions a mysterious Lorewalker who may be able to help find the White Pawn. Lorewalker Cho is intensely curious of his new visitor and is quickly willing to help find Prince Anduin.

Eventually, both factions make it to Dawn's Blossom. There, Lorewalker Cho has already taken off, so first help out the local pandaren with some of their problems before making it to the Emperor's Omen, which Cho is trying to restore. After gathering enough jade to finish the Serpent's Heart, adventurers enter the Temple of the Jade Serpent.

After The Jade Serpent, adventurers are delivered a message from their faction command, ordering them back to their forward base to wrap up the natives' fights. Battles won for the time being, Cho appears and urgently requests the adventurer's assistance at Cho's family's shrine. The Serpent's Heart is under attack by the sha!

There are two sets of level-90 daily quests in Jade Forest. One set, dealing with the Order of the Cloud Serpent at the Arboretum, is available every day of the week. The other set, involving the Jade Temple Grounds, is not offered every day--only one of the four August Celestials temples will be questable each day.
