Wrath of the Lich King[]

During the war against the Lich King, Gurgthock and Wodin make their next appearance in Zul'Drak in Northrend. Even surrounded by Scourge, Gurgthok settled in order to run his to-the-death gladiatorial games. The event was called the Amphitheater of Anguish, where Gurgthock was found riding on a tiny mammoth here. According to Muradin Bronzebeard, Gurgthok's blood sport isn't much different from the Drakkari's original purpose for the place, by the looks of it: a pit built for death as a sport.[1]

Cataclysm[]

Cataclysm This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.

Gurgthock and Wodin make their next appearance at the Twilight Highlands in the Eastern Kingdoms. The event is called the Crucible of Carnage. Gurgthock is also one of the possible helpers you can get in addition to your pack of druids when doing N [35 Daily] The Protectors of Hyjal in Sethria's Roost in Mount Hyjal. When flying he rides a small Wyvern.

Gurgthock and Wodin were captured by the Irontide Raiders, a group of pirates based out of Freehold on Kul Tiras. At the Ring of Booty they were forced to hold another event against their will.
