Abilities[]

Spirit Bond — Damage taken is reduced by 50% as long as Pterrorwing pet is alive.
Leaping Rend 15-50 yd range — Leaps at the target and slashes, causing the target to bleed for 22,000 Physical damage every 1 sec for 10 sec. Instant. (5 sec cooldown)
Bladewind — Spin around in a whirl of blades, inflicting 50,875 to 59,125 Physical damage to nearby enemies every 5.20 sec for 10 sec. 1.67 sec cast. Uninterruptible. Hits every 1 sec. (5 sec cooldown)

Strategy[]

Focus on the Tamed Pterrorwing first to get rid of the Spirit Bond, as Ku'lai's 7 million health is already a lot to work through, but 7 million health at half damage is just depressing. Make sure to pull them to an area away from other mobs.

Stay within 5 yards of Ku'lai so he won't cast Leaping Rend, but run away from him when he starts casting Bladewind. Ku'lai can be snared and rooted, so take that into account.
