Is this Rastakhan or Ghostbusters joke Zul?--SWM2448 19:11, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Given what we know, I'm more inclined to say it's Zul than Rastakhan. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:29, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
But, ultimately, the problem is that all the other trolls are named except him, so we don't really have any way to solidly identify him. He could be Zul, or he could be Rastakhan, and while I feel one is more likely than the other I also feel that there's sufficient ambiguity that it could go either way. In other words, we probably shouldn't be claiming that this is Zul or Rastakhan until we get some confirmation on that point. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:38, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Moved from User talk:Dark T Zeratul

As of the Patch 4.1 notes, we know that the Zandalari are now being led by the prophet Zul, NOT Rastakhan. Since Zul is now leading the Zandalar, it wouldn't make sense for Rastakhan to represent them at the meeting, would it? I'll leave it to you to decide whether or not the image I uploaded should be placed on the page again. (Kookamooka (talk) 21:24, 25 April 2011 (UTC))

That does not mean it is not Rastakhan, king of the zandalari, no name or proof are given in the trailer

But if Rastakhan no longer leads the Zandalari, why would he be there speaking in their name ? Kookamooka (talk) 21:30, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
We know that Zul has a strong influence on the Zandalari; we DON'T know where Rastakhan is involved in all of this. He may no longer be in charge, or he may be under Zul's influence himself. Ultimately, the troll in the trailer is never identified and there are arguments that can be made for both sides. Until we get more information, though, we can't really say with any certainty whether he's Zul or Rastakhan. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:30, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
I will say, although in-game models don't always mean anything... Rastakhan is a jungle troll, Zul is most likely a Zandalari troll. The unnamed troll does not look like a jungle troll. Either way, until confirmed it shouldn't be on either article. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 21:37, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
If you follow the conversation Vol'jin has in Ghostlands outside Zul'Aman, he mentions "King Rastakhan, he be plannin' to unite da troll tribes under his Zandalari" and "Rastakhan be callin' me his brother, but da Horde be our true brothers". It sounds pretty much what's being said in the trailer. --g0urra[T҂C] 11:33, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
This has no basis in any inside knowledge but how do we know Zul isn't Deathwing or some other powerful non-troll agent. Whats going on here isn't wholely unlike what Deathwing did during Day of the Dragon to the Alliance of Lordaeron. I know we really have no way to know but then again I'm not sure we can really be certain who this troll is either.Sayomara (talk) 22:15, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
While true, that is ultimately somewhat irrelevant for the discussion at hand. If the figure in the trailer is supposed to be Rastakhan it's a moot point, and if it's supposed to be Zul it doesn't matter if Zul if someone else in disguise because it's still Zul. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:22, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Fair enough, Anyone in WoW who is a "mysterious prophet" I wonder if they are who they say they are. But I tend to think with the thought this person is most likely Rastakhan who else do we know what would get this kinda of respect. The "Mysterious prophet" Zul not withstanding. I came to the Gourra's conclusion (4 days later :p)
We can fairly assume the troll is Rastakhan

Aye... even though he doesn't look like a jungle troll... /sigh. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 01:01, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
