Flamestrike is a Fire mage ground targeted area of effect spell that deals instant damage.

Tips and Tactics

  • Flamestrike is best used against several enemies that are closely stacked together, especially when talented into [Flame Patch]. However, due to its long cast time, it shouldn't be casted unless [Hot Streak] is up. Cast when Hot Streak activates instead of [Pyroblast] when this occurs.

  • [Flame Patch] causes Flamestrike to leave behind a ground effect, burning enemies for additional damage over 8 seconds.
  • [Hot Streak] allows the next Flamestrike to be instant cast and doubles its Ignite damage.
  • [Pyromaniac] gives Flamestrike casts a chance to reactivate Hot Streak.

PvP Talents

  • [World in Flames] reduces the cast time of Flamestrike by 1.25 seconds and increases its damage done by 20%.
