How are we going to be handling the leveling for the Infoboxes? Like 1-60 for original zones, 60-80 for TBC and Wotlk, and 80-90 for Cata and Mists of Pandaria? Or try to keep the original level of the NPC/Mob?

I guess it'll depend on how the WoW database will evolve? If the WoW database, readable through wowhead, lose all level-related information, we'll have a hard time to figure out the original level of quests and NPCs ... [[User:Xporc|Xporc]] ([[User talk:Xporc|talk]]) 12:51, 8 November 2017 (UTC)

::Within 3-5 years is my guess for those. Though since the events of Cataclysm, many zones were torn and changed up with new levels so... I've noticed overtime that we are still missing some mobs/NPCs like I found one that's been in the game since MoP launched but never created a page on Wowpedia and we are already at legion. I've also noticed some articles from Vanilla missing. Since the introduction to this scaling zones, which I think is going to be fantastic (because leveling alts can be a bore) but it scares me that the fact some articles are missing that could make the original impossible to know. ::Personally I'd prefer not adding it for the same reason I think we shouldn't add mention of the stat squish in the Patch changes section of every single item and NPC article. It's such an (almost) global, all-encompassing change that pointing it out on each and every individual article seems superfluous to me. :::::Specifically with regards to the 6.0.2 model change, that was left off largely because it was essentially an optional toggle rather than a global change (though now that that option's gone...). As to your argument about "75% of the content is outdated anyway," that seems like a terrible reason not to document something. ===Stat squish===
With Warlords of Draenor, it introduced a [[stat squish]]. This affected every item in the game since [[Mists of Pandaria]] and all the way back to Vanilla. That is a lot of items to include <nowiki>*{{Patch 6.0.2|note=Stat squished.}}</nowiki>. Now with BfA, introducing not only another stats squish but the item level squish. This affects every item in the game from Legion all the way back to Classic. Just think about it. That's a lot of items. The items from MoP to Classic will include two stats squish and the item level squish in the patch changes. This is just way too much, and pretty much every item you visit that wasn't introduced in BfA will have some sort of stat squish on its page. This also works similarly to the whole 6.0.2 model update that updated player character models which also affected NPCs of the same race. I think it is just a matter of if we should vote to include these kind of things or not. Bumping it because the discussion is dead but not forgotten. Should we include this or not? We already have two expansions that did this ([[6.0.2]] with the stats squish and [[8.0.1]] with the stats squish AND item level squish.) It is possible that Blizzard may do this again in a future expansion, although they said they might handle it differently. {{User:Surafbrov/Sig}} 08:04, 22 October 2018 (UTC)

::Yea, I was in the same boat when this happened in Warlords. But since BfA did the same thing, I thought about it... and it is just too much to update about a simple squish that happened. :::Not ''every'' item was actually squished in the first run. Some lower level items were left out. If they have been changed in the second squish, well.. I don't think it'll be easy to really tell if it was first or second squish that they got. With that in mind I don't care enough to suggest that we note the squishes on individual item pages. I wouldn't vote against it, if somebody really wants to work on a project like that, but I won't support it either.
