Forums: Village pump → Mob & NPC screenshots in mob & NPC categories

At times I see mob/NPC screenshots in zone categories for mobs and NPCs. I do not add screenshots to zone categories myself, but I'm wondering if we have a policy on this area. Personally I don't think the screenshots need to be in zone categories if they are in use. --PeterWind (talk) 09:32, 1 August 2017 (UTC)

I don't think either, but sometimes I like to add mob/NPC screenshots to race/class categories so we can have a few nice pictures inside them. Like how in Category:Shaman in tagged the warcraft III shaman concept art. Xporc (talk) 09:44, 1 August 2017 (UTC)

Unrelated, if a NPC with the same name appears in different expansions which one gets the parentheses? Let's say Bloodsail Corsair appears in Cataclysm and in Legion. Does the Legion version get "(Legion)" in the name or the Cataclysm version is moved? Is there a policy or is it up to editors? Mordecay (talk) 11:48, 10 February 2018 (UTC)

My usual policy is to add the disambig version to the last version, because some are sloppy to update old links when moving old pages. Xporc (talk) 11:56, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
