Forum:Quest XP from Wind Trader Zhareem
(This topic is archived. Please do not edit this page!)
I want to request a little feedback on this before I make these changes to his article and all the quest articles that relate to him.
Patch 7.0.3 reactivated all the old Burning Legion heroic quests (that were removed with Mists of Pandaria) that Wind Trader Zhareem offered to players. Up to now, I only have been cleaning the quest and quest item articles, with the exception of (because I realized I may want to bring this up for discussion).
There is a discrepancy between what Wowpedia, Wowhead, and WowDB currently report as the xp gained from completing the quest, and what I see in game. http://i.imgur.com/UcJNbjI.jpg shows my level 70 character. She is wearing no heirloom equipment, she is not in a guild, she does not have xp gain buff - yet I still see 16,250 instead of 16,230 reported by website databases.
I know that experience gain has been changed a couple of times over the years in order to speed up leveling in the lower brackets, and I wonder if this is the case here with the added complication that no player has been able to acquire and complete those heroic quests in years.
Is it alright to go ahead and change the xp amount, knowing that neither of the major World of Warcraft databases will reflect that information? Does anyone else have a level 70 character that they may use to confirm what I see? Thank you. Aliok (talk) 21:54, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
