Hey all, Recently made an Orc Shaman. I was in the Valley of Trials, coming back from the Sarkoth (or something like that. The scorpion one) quest, when at the cliff face dividing The Den from the rest of the Valley I saw around 50 troll corpses lying on the ground, spelling out the words: SAVE WOW GOLD. Additonally, all the bodies had names like Popolos, or Ppops, things liek that. This happened at about 3:15 +12:00 on the Calestraz server. Guild Publicity stunt, or Blizzard official message, given craftily? You decide. Schatzmeister (talk) 03:34, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

A quick Google search suggests it's a gold seller advertisement. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 03:36, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
What will they think of next... Rolandius Paladin (talk - contr) 03:37, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

But... How? And... Why? Schatzmeister (talk) 03:38, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

I found it cuning, and less annoying than whispers or mails.
Found myself laughing hard when trying to read the message on my realm.

Original, indeed, and not as annoying as others.--Lon-ami (talk) 12:54, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
Aren't GMs known to sometimes spell out things with bodies? Usually in a city I think. Rolandius Paladin (talk - contr) 13:02, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
I have personally never heard of such a thing. --g0urra[T҂C] 15:08, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
I saved two screenshots like that from around Orgrimmar, the older of the two was from August of 2008. Both wow gold sellers. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 9:32 AM, 25 Jul 2009 (EDT)
I'm fairly sure any GM caught doing that would be fired. Kirkburn  talk  contr 16:07, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
