Gamescom (stylized as gamescom) is a trade fair for a released video game held annually at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

2018

Gamescom 2018 will be held on August 21 through August 25. It is unknown whether Blizzard will be attending this year.

2017

Gamescom 2017 was held on August 22 through August 26. Attendees were able to run though the new dungeon Seat of the Triumvirate that was introduced in patch 7.3. The World of Warcraft European Championship Finals was taken place at the World of Warcraft stage with a share of $100,000 and a chance to compete in the World of Warcraft Arena World Championship Finals at BlizzCon 2017. A live Darkmoon Faire was present at the Blizzard booth during the event including activities like an airbrush makeup station and photo opportunities with iconic World of Warcraft statues and items.

Gamescom 2016 was held from 17 August to 21 August. Overwatch's Animated Short "The Last Bastion" was revealed. New content was revealed for Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft and Overwatch.[1]
