Hammered Patrons are found in the neutral bar area, The Grim Guzzler in Blackrock Depths. They are non-elite level 44 to 52. Once you enter the bar they start off neutral.
You can aggro them in different ways, the easiest being to whack with any weapon or spell. Select one and push auto-attack and you will attack the mob. You will aggro several mobs around the one you just attacked. This radius isn't very big, so if you pull mobs carefully you can clear the whole bar quite painlessly.
Clearing the bar generally isn't done. Except in the case of Dark Keeper Vorfalk, with the key to the Dark Coffer having spawned there.
To aggro the whole bar you can do several things. Pick pocket the Grim Guzzler key from Plugger Spazzring, or steal food and drink from the table, or give lots of Dark Iron Ale Mugs to Private Rocknot, which will aggro Phalanx and in turn the whole bar.
If you're thinking you can AoE the whole bar... Try it, it can be done, but mage should probably be frost specced with ice barrier and have a priest in the party. I wouldn't recommend it, most likely it will wipe the whole party.
