For the Naxxramas item, see Inv jewelry necklace 27naxxramas [Heritage].

Heritage armor sets are cosmetic rewards unique to each race. Their cosmetic nature means that they are transmoggable over any armor type, from plate to cloth. The set is unlocked account-wide, and can be worn or transmogged by any character of the race.

Allied races can unlock their set by leveling an allied race character to level 110 without the use of the Recruit-A-Friend extra level bonus, Character Boost, Race Change, or Faction Change services.

Main races can unlock their set by earning Exalted reputation with their respective racial faction on any max level character, and completing a short racial questline.

Notes

  • Unlike other heritage armor sets, the Heritage of the Mag'har set comes in multiple recolors to represent the different orcish clans.
  • The Blood Elf heritage set comes with a pants and robe version.
  • The Kul Tiran heritage armor went through several iterations. As depicted in the concept art above, the left design was ultimately used for their heritage armor, while the right armor was reused for leather dungeon gear from Kul Tiras dungeons. Furthermore, the coat design that was used for the heritage armor also went through a redesign on the PTR, with a more washed out color look, shorter coat and the removal of the large golden Kul Tiran anchor on the coat's back.
