I Hate That Song
I Hate That Song is a dungeon & raids achievement earned for defeating Temple Guardian Anhuur without allowing him to sing Reverberating Hymn for more than 15 seconds in Halls of Origination on Heroic difficulty.
The central concern of this achievement is activating the switches quickly, so that Anhuur can be interrupted as soon as possible.
Snake Control Method
One of the primary problems is snakes interrupting players who are trying to activate the switches. In this method, the tank picks up all snakes early and does not kill them, so that the switches can be activated in peace.
Before the fight begins, the tank will run around in the switch-area picking up all snakes. The tank runs down the stairs, past one switch, behind Anhuur, and back past the other switch. Some method of keeping the tank alive must be devised - without a healer following the tank. (A healer would simply draw aggro and be in too much danger.) A tough tank may be selected, who should be pre-shielded if possible, and use tanking cooldowns while gathering the snakes.
After passing the second switch, the tank should rejoin the group as quickly as possible. Whatever abilities that can help with this should be used, such as: Life Grip (allowing the tank to skip the stairs), Heroic Leap, Intervene, and Darkflight.
The tank then goes to Anhuur, aggroing him. The healer may wish to stand on the far side of the tank at this time (opposite the approaching snakes). When the snakes arrive, the tank should perform an AOE attack to reinforce aggro on them. Thereafter, nobody should perform any AOE attacks of any kind, except possibly the tank if aggro on any snakes is lost.
When Anhuur begins his hymn, one DPS will drop down to either side to activate the switches. As soon as it is possible, a player who remained up by Anhuur should interrupt his song.
It will be necessary to interrupt Anhuur twice. The snakes should survive the entire time so that the switches can be activated quickly. The healer should use aggro-reduction abilities as needed so that the snakes don't attack; however, it is likely that some snakes will attack the healer anyway - simply heal through these attacks.
