An illusionist is a spellcaster who specializes in the use of the magic school of Inv mask 01 [Illusion], which consists mostly of deceiving the senses of others by summoning phantasmic phenomena. Illusion is the art of deceiving reality itself. The mist of illusion can make a spellcaster invisible or inaudible to the world or twist the image of a location into something entirely different. Illusion can be used for disguise for manipulation. Illusions exist in the divination school.[1]

Zandalari mages are known as illusionists. They employ powerful mojo in their incantations, often befuddling and confusing the tribe's enemies. It is quite the sight to see a powerful illusionist at work, bringing the Zandalari's enemies to their knees from their own madness.[2] Magic is a raw, primal force to be shaped by those strong enough to do it. Mojo is the Zandalari's extension of this power; one such potent manipulation of it is in the form of illusion. The Zandalar know the power of this form of magic, and as such illusionists hold a honored place within the tribe.[3] The tribe acknowledges station and power through what the Zandalari wear. Their vestments are made from the finest of materials, and interwoven with the mojo they use to make them powerful. Illusionists are no exception; their robes are said to embody the essence of illusion in their look. Legend states that their ancient robes never looked the same twice.[4]

The Eye will vanish after a time, leaving the Ogre-Mage with the knowledge of the terrain.

As both exhaled, from each peeled away another copy...and then another. Soon, eight Korialstraszes filled the area. As one, they leapt into the darkening sky, heading in different directions...but all with the intention of eventually arriving at Grim Batol. It was a costly plan Korialstrasz intended. The copies were more than mere illusion; to make all this work, each had been imbued with a tiny bit of himself. Just enough to make those who might be observing him wonder which was the true dragon. They would have to expend precious power determing the truth...and by then the real Korialstrasz would be upon them. Or so they were supposed to believe. In truth, none of the dragons were real. All eight were imbued copies. As the others had been created, the true Korialstrasz had masked his transformation back into the guise of Krasus.
