Legends: Blood Runs Thicker

Comics title.png This section concerns content related to the Warcraft manga or comics.

Kerri Hicks in Legends.

She is described as one of the newer members of the Faire. Kerri's strength is impressive, being able to shatter a boulder with one swing of a two-handed mace, and easily crushing a coconut in a two-handed grip.

Kerri is a young woman with a bit of a temper. Presumably because her great strength made her different she was singled out from others, but she describes her birth family as not sticking up for her or defending her. She eventually struck out on her own, leaving her family behind and trusting no one but herself, her childhood leaving her angry and bitter. She eventually crossed paths with the Darkmoon Faire, with it's leader Silas Darkmoon inviting her to join them. Silas explained that he and his carnies were a family, that they defended each other and promised that she would never be alone again.

As a member of the Faire, Kerri apparently gives at least two performances a day, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, demonstrating her unusual strength. In their first visit to Southshore however, Kerri got into an altercation when the drunken sons of a rich local winemaker tried to attack her. When one of the sons is later found murdered, Kerri is arrested as the main suspect. Silas investigates the murder and pulls all the legal strings he can, but later finds out that the Southshore Tribunal has sentenced Kerri to hang before he will be able to get the evidence of her innocence. Silas does not care that the Faire could lose a regular business opportunity in Southshore; since he cannot get the evidence in time they will rescue her instead.

Kerri hears from the guards that the Faire packed up and left town, assuming that they've left her behind. The carnies then pull off an audacious rescue plan, which turned out to be unnecessary but completely restores Kerri's faith that her carnie family will never abandon her.

Quote

<Name>, it's good to see you again! Are you having fun at the Faire?

Want to arm wrestle? No, of course not... you want to keep your arm!

She laughs.
