Kerxan is an ancient and powerful world that was conquered by the Burning Legion. The planet was home to a race of giants, four of which—Bahmethra, Hrestimorak, Salaranga, and Nilganihmaht—seized power through cunning and treachery and enacted a brutal thousand-year reign. They murdered countless rivals, weakening their own forces in the process. When the Legion arrived, the armies of Kerxan were too depleted to defy them, and even the four giants fell to the demons. After their deaths, the souls of the four were condemned to the Maw for their crimes.[1]
During the Legion's third invasion of Azeroth, Overseer Ingra used the Scepter of Kerxan to summon Legion forces to Suramar.[2]
