Fall of Gilneas
This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.
During Tess Greymane's birth Krennan made a potion that secured her life. Shortly before the attack on Gilneas City, Genn Greymane asked him to find a potion for him. During the attack, he was saved by adventurers sent by Genn.
After the Worgen curse ravaged Gilneas, Krennan was responsible for the partial treatment to the curse and aids Genn Greymane in helping its victims. After the destruction of Duskhaven, Krennan traveled from Greymane Manor to Stormglen by carriage with Gwen Armstead, Lorna Crowley, Marie Allen and the worgen adventurer.
Later, Greymane traveled to Tempest's Reach with Lord Godfrey and Krennan Aranas. While in the carriage, Godfrey held Greymane at gunpoint and decided that the only way to negotiate with the Forsaken was if he had something they wanted. Krennan called Godfrey an idiot, warning him that Greymane was a worgen, and Godfrey tossed the chemist out of the carriage in response. At Tempest's Reach, Godfrey told the king it would not be long now before he began negotiating with the Forsaken, but a worgen Adventurer sent by Krennan killed Godfrey's allies - Lord Walden and Baron Ashbury and suddenly appeared behind him. Then he got to Livery Outpost and inspired the men to participate in the Battle for Gilneas.
After the battle he was evacuated but was stuck in Aderic's Repose because of disturbed ghost. He then moved to Keel Harbor. After worgen players finish up in Gilneas, Krennan has relocated to Rut'theran Village, just outside the portal to the main part of Darnassus.

- Well met.
- We live another day...
- Krennan Aranas is similar to Alphus Wordwill, a non-canon RPG character who also tried to use alchemy to help the worgen of Silverpine Forest regain their mind after their transformation in Lands of Conflict.
- Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Added.
