Mana Surges are level 39 to 40 Elemental mobs found in Dustwallow Marsh during the 
[40] Mana Surges. It is the basic type of mana surge. It pours out of rifts opened by arcane magic.
A Mage will need to defeat 12 of them in 10 minutes during the quest [40] Mana Surges.
