For trainers with the title "Master", see Trainer#Master.

Master is the fifth stage of a profession learned at the appropriate profession trainer (see below). It unlocks the use and development of profession related skills in Outland related content.

Profession skill levels fall into ten of groups of ability to learn and execute recipes: Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, Artisan, Master (The Burning Crusade), Grand Master (Wrath of the Lich King), Illustrious Grand Master (Cataclysm), Zen Master (Mists of Pandaria), Draenor Master (Warlords of Draenor), Legion Master (Legion), and Kul Tiran and Zandalari (Battle for Azeroth).

  • Not counting racial or other bonuses, Master proficiency allows the profession up to a maximum of 75 points.
  • Crafting professions have a minumum level of 50 to become a Master.
