Master Sergeant Pietro Zaren is an officer in the 7th Legion.[1] He and his submariners slaughtered Captain Rutsak's men at Rutsak's Guard, sparing him so he would witness their strength.[1][2]
Forward Commander Onslaught wants him killed.
Abilities
Blessing of Might — Places a Blessing on the friendly target, increasing attack power by 10% and ranged attack power by 10%, and restoring 1% mana every 5 seconds for 5 min.- Divine Storm — An instant weapon attack that causes Holy damage to up to 4 enemies within 8 yards.
- Hammer of Wrath — Hurls a hammer that strikes an enemy for Holy damage.
- Retribution Aura — Causes Holy damage to any creature that strikes the caster.

Trivia
- Pietro Zaren was originally listed as the NPC to defeat for Shadowfang Plague during the Battle for Azeroth beta,[3] along with having received a promotion to Captain,[4] though this was changed before launch. He was replaced with Captain Tobias Zaren, of unknown relation to Pietro.
- Tobias' NPC is still internally referred to as Pietro and uses the same model.
