Were you looking for [70] Now This is Ram Racing... Almost. (Horde)?
This quest is available during the Brewfest event.
Objectives
You have 4 minutes to ride the ram, and maintain 3 different levels of speed for 8 seconds.
- Maintain a Trot for 8 seconds
- Maintain a Canter for 8 seconds
- Maintain a Gallop for 8 seconds
- [Ram Racing Reins] provided
Notes
Click on the [Ram Racing Reins] to increase your speed. You have to click it multiple times to maintain or speed up. Watch out for Ram Fatigue debuff on your ram though, if you fatigue your ram too much, you'll be forced to let him "rest" which means he goes REALLY slowly...
- Finding and running into apple barrels
Being in proximity to an apple barrel will remove the Ram Fatigue debuff from you.
By far easiest way to do this quest is to find some apples, and keep running into them (you effectively stand still). Now just run the 3 speed levels.
Description
So you want to check out the racing rams? Well, I hope you're ready for speed. BUT before I let you loose in the world, you'll need to show me that you can handle these fine creatures.
So here's the deal: I'll lend you some of my racing reins and the use of a ram. You need to prove to me that you can handle these rams.
Keep the ram at a trot, canter, and gallop for 8 seconds each. If you need instructions on how to handle the ram, talk to my apprentice, Pol Amberstill.
Completion
Nice work there! It takes time to get the hang of controlling your ram. But once you do, you'll wish every ram was a racing ram.
What's that? "Where's my reward?" Ha Ha Ha... you got to ride the fastest ram around! You want more? Well, how about this...
You've been rewarded with the chance to help other people around Brewfest. There's plenty of work, and rewards, for an eager, young ram racer.
