Smashball[]

A violent contact sport recently developed for The Sha'tar. Smashball works with two teams against each other in an attempt to score using a leather ball. Teams are currently being formed as is a league to follow the action. The first Smashball team created were the Orgrimmar Raiders and are currently drafting their team together. The Orgrimmar Raiders have no competition, because they're the only team right now.

New teams are needed and young managers and ambitious leaders are wanted..

What to think of Smashball?[]

It is based on (American) Football and Rugby, anyone familiar with either of these sports knows the deal. Scoring points by getting the ball in your opponents endzone, unlike Football, you get 2 tries instead of 4. This keeps the keep exciting and it doesn't need big fields. It has many rules, but once you understand them, it'll be like a walk through Eversong.

The most important item of the game is the Heavy Leather ball, crafted by Leatherworkers or bought from the Darkmoon Faire. (Be sure to stock 'em when the next Darkmoon Faire hits our server!) Like with Football, the offensive captain has the ball at the start of the game and either passes it or gives it to a receiver/runningback.. In this case, that would be the Stormer. You can check out the rest for yourself, our forum provides a detailed rulebook that is updated daily (if needed)
