Goon Squad - First Horde guild to ever kill Thrall and Vol'jin?[]

How did this happen? --Voidvector 22:37, 6 January 2007 (EST)

The quest Test of Lore gives you the "Mark of Shame" debuff for 30 minutes which allows you to attack same faction npc's. Goon Squad is an extremely large guild and organized getting the buff at the same time. There were several reports of this. --GRYPHONtc 00:52, 8 January 2007 (EST)
Wow! Awesome lmao thats cool, wouldnt you get massive derep or seomthing though? --Thursday 21:37, 1 February 2007 (EST)

A guild named CAFN from Deathwing killed Thrall before Goon Squad did. Keoke40 23:15, 26 December 2007 (UTC)Keoke

Wow[]

This page is beautiful. This should be an example for all Server pages, in my opinion! Jeoh 03:50, 7 January 2007 (EST)

Thanks :D --GRYPHONtc 00:27, 8 January 2007 (EST)
Looks great, love the new revisions. Mwwisu 17:45, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Progression Order?[]

Hey Gryphon, do you mind if I reverse the progression order on this server page? It seems as though the most interesting content is a bit laborious to find. TTYS. --Jfragment 14:40, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

I don't mind at all --GRYPHONtc 16:09, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
All set Gryph. Let me know if you need anything changed back. I just reversed the order. --Jfragment 17:26, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
I split up the article to make it easier to edit, the progression templates are now at, Mal'Ganis US/Progression/Pre-Burning Crusade, Mal'Ganis US/Progression/Naxxramas and Mal'Ganis US/Progression/Burning Crusade. --GRYPHONtc 17:40, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Gryphon[]

For some reason the main malganis page is no longer including the progression templates. I'm not familiar enough with wiki to fix it. Any help would rock! --Jfragment 15:12, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I removed them to shorten up the article and make each page more of a stand alone article. They are found via the nav menu now at top right. I was thinking about developing an automatic rotation for something like a featured article (alchemy, naxx, pre-bc, etc...) that would swap out every few days on the main article. --GRYPHONtc 16:41, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi Gryphon, I understand the methodology of making the page shorter but with usability in mind we have made the one piece of info that has made this page popular hard to find. We have prominently listed "community links" that no longer work and are of little interest as well as external links to guild websites over the ability to check progression. Web usability has proven that users read in a diagonal fashion from upper left to lower right thus making the least viewed real estate being the upper right (where you have placed the most sought after material) and the lower left. I ask that you reconsider your content layout. --Jfragment 18:33, 26 June 2007 (UTC) <-- fortune 500 usability consultant
I have designed the article to go beyond the current information available as well, there will be future progression articles as the game expands over time, I have made concessions for that now. I will work on moving the menu design around and make it more accessible. --GRYPHONtc 18:53, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Moving the right hand nav you have now to the left side of the content would do wonders in usability. IMHO. --Jfragment 19:01, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
