- Not to be confused with Shadowglen.
|Theater of operations|
Situated along the River Arevass in the Silverpine Forest, the Shadowglen trolls had established it's home up the river and had several dams built. These dams had allowed the trolls to control the river, and they faced little to no opposition, until Tyrande Whisperwind got swept up within the river. With Tyrande and the Sentinels swept into the heart of where the Scourge was established in Silverpine, Malfurion and Illidan set aside their disagreements in order to rescue the woman they both loved.
While the Shadowglen had no interaction with the night elves, they did clash with Illidan and his naga as the naga informed Illidan that the river was the fastest route in reaching Tyrande. With the Shadowglen unwilling to give up their territory and Illdan knowing the Scourge was attacking Tyrande, the two forces fought for control of the river. Ultimately Illidan and his naga were victorious and the Shadowglen trolls were seemingly wiped out.

While the Shadowglen are listed alongside other troll tribes in the official magazine, the fact that they are not mentioned in World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 1 may mean that they were a very minor tribe or one that came into existence much later. It is also possible that they never became a tribe.
