- We never have enough of these rays for the Skyguard. You're keeping us afloat... literally!
Khatie's interaction with the player changes as the player gains in reputation with the Skyguard.
Huh? What? I'm a little busy here, friend!
Of course, if you're here to help, I've got all the time in the world.
Hey there, <class>!
<Khatie looks at you slyly.>
Any time you want to wrangle us up some more aether rays, you make sure to come and see me!
You know, <name>, it's such an honor to work with you!
When you're not busy wrangling, maybe we could go out some place for dinner?
Oh, did I mention that we can now get you to our base in the Skethyl Mountains real quick? If you want, speak with Skyguard Handler Irena about that.
So, you've been around a lot, but we seem to keep missing each other for getting together after work.
Is it me?
<Khatie purposely cheers up.>
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I... we really appreciate everything that you've been doing for the Skyguard!
I hope you don't think I'm a stalker, or anything like that, <name>.
I mean, I know that you're real famous within the Skyguard now, and well... I'm sure that you wouldn't want to hang out with a lowly peon like me.
But, if you ever want to get together to just hang out, or even wrangle some more rays, drop by anytime! I'll be here.
I miss you...
In patch 2.4, Khatie was given her own nether ray mount. This was probably because before, she was so small it was easy for players to completely cover her, especially those with large mounts such as Netherdrakes. This was especially annoying on PvP realms as it would usually end with a player of the opposite faction accidentally right-clicking the person covering Khatie, therefore auto-attacking them and aggroing the guards.
